SCHOOLS

Carrickcruppengfc.com has created the Schools section to congratulate all those members of our underage teams that have honoured themselves and our club by helping their school teams to noted successes in the great art of Gaelic football.

:: Carrickcruppen connection to great St. Pauls victory!
   Author: Jackie Sheridan

St. Paul’s High school on the Green Road has always had a great and historic past when it comes to Gaelic football and helping them to achieve that success has been members of the closely situated club of Carrickcruppen. Recently we have seen a major contribution by our underage players in the meteoric rise and sucsess of St. Paul’s underage set up and nowhere else is that evident than the squad that won the U14 Ulster Championship when they defeated a very strong St. Paul’s of Kilrea by a score line of 1-12 to 1-6. This historic winning team is peppered with Cruppney boys and it’s a credit to the club to have produced such an array of young talent. The Captain of the team and Full back is none other than the power house Patrick McCullough (pictured below).

Accompanying Patrick on the panel are another six quality Cruppen players, young men that we will definitely have to keep an eye out for in the future, these lads are now 15 years old and will hopefully be playing on the Carrickcruppen senior panel in the very near future. Pictured below are the other six young Cruppney Gaels.
