Congratulations to Stephen 'I spend too much time in Dans' Loughran on his great victory in the final of the Tommy Trainor Perpetual Pool competition. Rising through a talented field, Stephen overcame John McCauley in the Semi-final then took the trophy with a great win over fellow young-gun Mark Rice In the Final. Stephen played some fantastic pool throughout the tournament and in the end was a very deserving winner.
In an exclusive interview with carrickcruppengfc.com, the young champion was quoted as saying "I potted the yellows, then the black, Ronnie O'Sullivan watch your back! Rice was good but i'm the best, I beat McCauley and the rest! I'm the new Loughran in town, don't worry about Peter, he's only a clown! So if you have no other plans, come meet the champ, I live in Dans!!"
